Dhoni Receives Padma Bhushan

 MS Dhoni, the former Indian cricket team captain, has been awarded Padma Bhushan. President Ramnath Kovind awarded the former skipper the 3rd highest civilian honour on April 2, 2018. The date is significant since it falls on the same day team India won the World Cup against Sri Lanka under Dhoni's captaincy. A number of ministers and players posted congratulatory messages for the cricketer on Twitter. 

All Institutes to Participate in Ranking System from Next Year

The government has made it mandatory for all the higher education institutes to participate in the ranking system from the next year. The third edition of the ranking system for the institutes has been unveiled by the HRD ministry. The ministry has also stated that those institutes which fail to do so would get a cut in their grants.
