04 April 2019 Current Events 28 Aircraft Are Operated By Jet Airways

DGCA announced on Wednesday that Jet Airways is currently operating the fleet of 28 aircraft. Earlier, 124 aircraft were operated by this airline. As per the reports, the reason behind it was the airline's subsequent failure to pay the lessors. Also, Jet Airways on Tuesday has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange they are about to ground 15 more aircraft. Pradeep Singh Kharola secretary of civil aviation in one of his statements quoted that the airways were operating less than 15 aircraft and the eligibility to fly internationally must be fleet of 20 to begin international operations.
