04 December 2019 Current Events Maoists Declares Bharat Bandh to Protest Against Ram Janmabhoomi Verdict

A nationwide strike has been declared on December 10, 2019 by the Maoists in order to protest against Supreme Court's verdict on Ram Janmabhoomi - Babri Masjid case. The Spokesperson of Maoists' central committee issued a statement saying "the party has decided to protest against the verdict on December 6 and 7 before 'Bharat Bandh' on December 10. They have further invited the secular and democratic and other such forces to join them in the agitation. There are a group of people who took it to twitter to show their support for Bharat Bandh with the different purpose of capital punishment for the rapists.
