04 February 2019 Current Events Smriti Mandhana, the Indian Opener becomes Number 1 in women's ODI rankings

The Indian Opener Smriti Mandhana who was also the ICC Women's Player of 2018, grabbed the first position in the latest women's ODI rankings. She has jumped three positions to get this spot. Indian Skipper Mithali Raj slipped a position down and finished at fifth position. Other Indian players including Poonam Yadav and Ekta Bisht are placed at 8th and 9th position respectively.
