04 July 2018 Current Events Five people dead in a landslide enroute to Amarath Shrine in Jammu & Kashmir

Five people were killed and four injured in a landslide in Ganderbal district on Baltal route in Jammu and Kashmir today. The landslide was triggered by flash floods in the region and hit the Amarnath yatra pilgrims. The rescue teams have reached the accident spot and the injured have been taken to the hospital.


Tigers from Ranthambore Reserve to be shifted to Mukundra due to shrinking space

The tigers of the Ranthambore Reserve of Rajasthan will be relocated to Mukundra reserves in the state as the increasing population of the tigers in the Ranthambore reserve has led to severe space crunch. So, in order to avoid the territorial fights, the state authorities have come up with this decision.
