04 March 2019 Current Events Wrestler Bajrang Punia wins Gold

India's wrestler Bajrang Punia has won a gold medal in a tournament in 65-kilogram freestyle wrestling. The tournament took place in Ruse, Bulgaria. Punia overpowered Jordan Oliver of USA 12-3 in the finals. This was Punia's 10th medal won in many international events since the 2017 World Championship which took place in Paris. Punia dedicated his victory to Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman who returned from Pakistan on Friday.
