04 May 2019 Current Events Nepal to connect Kathmandu with India and China via Railways
As per recent reports, President of Nepal, Bidhya Devi Bhandari on Friday, May 3, 2019, informed that Nepal is planning to start construction of railways network which will link Kathmandu with China and India. The report related to the Rasuwagadhi-Kathmandu and Birgunj-Kathmandu link project is already prepared. Meanwhile, they are just planning to initiate it within two years. Other than this, the President also informed the Parliament that the government of Nepal has already strategized for this first trans-border railways, for the upcoming fiscal year.
