05 October 2020 Current Events Rahul, Priyanka, Meets Hathras Rape Victim's Family

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra were not allowed to meet with the 19-year-old rape victim's family in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. Still, the siblings managed to reach the village and spent almost an hour at the victim's residence and talked with her family members. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath accused the opposition of raising their voice against the Hathras rape, attempting to destabilize communal harmony.
