06 April 2019 Current Events Kanishak Kataria Tops UPSC Final Exam

Kanishak Kataria an IIT Bombay graduate tops UPSC exam. He has qualified UPSC exam along with Mathematics as an optional subject. Whereas, Srushti Jayant Deshmukh is another topper among women who cleared the UPSC exam and bagged the fifth rank overall. The result was declared on Friday. Ms Deshmukh is graduated in Chemical Engineering from RGPV, Bhopal. The optional subjects of top 25 candidates were Anthropology, Commerce & Accountancy, Law, Political Science, English Literature and so on. Also, 36 candidates with the benchmark disability were recommended for the post.
