Kohli the New ODI and T20I Captain

After MS Dhoni relinquished the limited-over captaincy, <a href=””>Virat Kohli</a> has been selected as the new ODI and T20I captain, and became the skipper in all three formats of the game. Many other cricketers were also named for the one-day and Twety20 squad.

OnePlus in India: First Store in Bengaluru

After selling its phones through online portals for sometime, OnePlus has inaugurated its 'Experience Store' on Friday in Bengaluru. The Chinese manufacturer has taken the initiative to provide the customers a first hand opportunity of testing the device before they finalise and buy and purchase it from the brand's official site or through its online sales partner Amazon.

As per reports, a slew of unique engagement ideas are going to be added by OnePlus at the store. This will be done to offer a different and unique experience to the customers.


Bengaluru-Delhi Spice Jet Flight: Emergency Landing due to Hydraulic Failure

As per reports, a Bengaluru-Delhi Spice Jet flight, SG 136 with 176 passengers on board had to make an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday morning after it suffered a partial hydraulic failure. The airport officials confirmed that the the passengers and crew of the flight are safe.

Karnataka BJP MP Booked for Assaulting Doctors

According to reports, BJP MP from Karnataka Ananth Kumar Hegde assaulted doctors and hospital staff of a private hospital in Sirsi town on 2 January after he expressed disappointment for not attending to his mother properly. Following this, a suo motu case has been registered against him.

Hegde was earlier been booked for his alleged remarks against Muslims.

Om Puri Passes Away at 66

Veteran actor Om Puri suffered a massive heart attack and passed away early on Friday morning. Puri's body was taken to Cooper hospital for postmortem, after which his funeral will take place. His friends and colleagues from Bollywood reached his residence in Andheri to pay their last respect.
