Karunanidhi's medical condition declines further, states Kauvery Hospital doctors

Five-time Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi's health conditions is showing no traces of improvement as stated by the doctors of Kauvery Hospital. He is still in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital under continuous medical attention. 

Army Major, 3 soldiers killed while preventing terrorists infiltration in J&K

According to the army officials, an Army major and three soldiers have lost their lives while preventing terrorist intrusion in Kashmir's Gurez today. The incident happened after a group of militants forcibly tried to enter into the Indian territory and exchanged open fires after getting intercepted by the army officials. 

Rajya Sabha's Deputy Chairman Elections to be held on Thursday

The election for the post of Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha is going to be held on Thursday as stated by the House's Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu. The nominations for this post are required to be filed before 12 pm tomorrow. This post has been vacant since June 2018.

Lok Sabha remembered the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings in the yesterday session of the house. The tragedy took place in Japan in 1945 causing the deaths of thousands of people. 

24 girls rescued from UP's women shelter home

The police authorities in Uttar Pradesh's Deoria area have rescued 24 girls from a women shelter home after a 10-year-old girl escaped from there. The girl managed to reach the nearest police station and stated that the inmates of this shelter home were forced into women trafficking. The shelter home has been sealed, and the home's manager and her husband have been arrested.
