RBI Monetary Policy Statement for 2017-2018 to be announced today

The Reserve Bank of India is going to announce its sixth bi-monthly monetary policy decision at 2:30 pm on Wednesday. A 2-day meeting was started yesterday by The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), headed by RBI Governor Urjit Patel, in Mumbai. All eyes are on the outcome of the 6-member MPC meeting which is being keenly awaited by stakeholders amidst a huge sell-off in the stock markets globally.

Senior Leader of Telugu Desam Party Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu passes away

The Senior Leader of Telugu Desam Party who was also a former minister and sitting member of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu, passed away in Hyderabad during the wee hours. He was 71 years of age. As per reports, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu has expressed shock and grief on the death of the former minister. The last rights of Muddu Krishnama Naidu will be performed at his native village in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
