BJP reacts sharply to video showing Digvijay Singh with Zakir Naik

BJP has reacted sharply to a 2012 video which shows Congress leader Digvijay Singh sharing the dias with Zakir Naik, a controversial Islamic preacher. As per media reports, the video, which surfaced today, shows Digvijay praising Naik. Meanwhile, Singh defended himself saying that if there is any evidence against Naik then the governments of India and Bangladesh should take action against him. 

India sending NSG's bomb experts to Bangladesh

In an effort to help with investigations into two terrorist attacks in Bangladesh, the government of India will be sending National Security Group’s bombs experts to the country. Media reports quoted officials as saying that the team will analyse and study the terror siege at a café in the country and the bombing at an Eid prayer at Kishoreganj.
