Political parties have started campaigning in Gujarat as the date for nomination of candidate is approaching for Assembly Election in Gujarat. Top political leaders are campaigning in Gujarat.
BJP president Amit Shah has launched Gujarat Gaurav Maha-Sampark Abhiyan from Naranpura area of Ahmedabad. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has launched the campaign from Rajkot, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel launched it from Mehsana, former Chief Minister Anandiben Patel launched it from Ghatlodia, while State BJP president Jitu Vaghani launched it from Bhavnagar.
Quoting party sources, our correspondent reports that Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Jitendra Singh, Parshottam Rupala, Jashwant Sinh Bhabhor, Haribhai Chaudhri and Mansukh Mandavia have launched the campaign from different districts. Union Ministers Smriti Irani, Nirmala Sitaraman, Prakash Javdekar, Manoj Sinha, V.K.Singh and Thawarchand Gehlot are scheduled to join the campaign in coming days.
Former Prime Minister and senior Congress leader Dr. Manmohan Singh is in Ahmedabad addressing trade and business community.
The government stated that India Post Payments Bank will become operational in all 650 districts of the country by April next year.
They will facilitate financial inclusion. Minister of Communications Manoj Sinha said in New Delhi that these banks will be linked to 1.55 lakh rural post offices and carry out banking services.
The Minister said, two such banks are already operational in Ranchi and Raipur.
