Jammu Trader Organisation Threatens to Kill Immigrants if not Deported in a Month

As per reports, the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has threatened to kill all the immigrants from Bangladesh and Myanmar settled in Jammu province if the Jammu and Kashmir government does not deport them in a month's time. They have also asked the centre and the state government to detain all those under Public Safety Act who offered them land to settle in.

Around 7,000 to 8,000 Rohingya Muslims and Bangladeshi nationals are reportedly staying in several parts of Jammu since some years. This situation escalated after bandh was called by separatists in Kashmir against issuance of identity certificates to West Pakistan refugees who are staying in Jammu since three to four generations.
