08 April 2019 Current Events 36 passengers fall ill on Rajdhani Express
36 passengers, fell ill due to food poisoning on the New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express. As per the reports the incident took place during Sunday morning. Railway officials told that after having food, passengers immediately started complaining about the tendency of vomiting and uneasiness felt by them. The passengers first complained at 4 am when the train left the Gaya station. SK Srivastava the Adra railway division manager later confirmed that the condition was stable and passengers were recovered by railway doctors. The DRM probed into the case and said that the case was likely of food poisoning. Also, they have confirmed that the necessary steps will be taken to protect the interest of passengers.
