08 April 2020 Current Events Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Announces Strategies to Fight COVID-19 in Delhi

On Tuesday, during a press conference through video link, Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced a strategy to fight COVID-19 based on five T’s. The five T’s includes testing, tracing people who may have contracted the disease, treatment, team-work, tracking, and monitoring. He also said, the government assigned around 400 beds in private hospitals for COVID-19 patients. Also, in case the number of Coronavirus cases rises in Delhi, there is a detailed plan to take over private hospitals as well. Besides, banquet halls and Dharamshalas in the city will be arranged for accommodations of 10, 000 COVID-19 patients if needed.
