08 January 2019 Current Events Imran Khan: India Refused Peace Talks with Pak

Imran Khan, the Pakistan Prime Minister, has pointed fingers towards India. Apparently, the latter country has not returned the gesture for the peace overtures made by Khan. The Pak PM has implied that this should not be a situation between two nations which are nuclear-armed. He also labelled it suicidal. He added that the cold war would be detrimental to both the countries. According to Khan's party, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Khan did express desires to hold talks with India. India, in her defence, has stated that talks and terror don't go hand in hand.
