Even the AAP played its role by saying that Arvind Kejriwal will contest from Varanasi against Modi. Then there were in house resistance created by senior leader Murli Manohar Joshi. Amidst of all this it is almost certain that Narendra Modi will contest from Varanasi and it will be the second Lok Sabha constituency after a constituency in Gujarat. This has become an important matter as the AAP supporters are planning to project Kejriwal against Modi if Modi decides to contest from any place outside Gujarat. It is also expected that Joshi will be given another seat in Kanpur if his Varanasi seat will be given to Modi. BJP’s central election committee is going to finalize nominations on Saturday so this decision will not be taken today. But the matter may be taken up for discussion. UP is a very crucial state in the Lok Sabha elections and Modi to become PM because of 80 seats in Lok Sabha. So it is imperative to take correct decision regarding his Varanasi seat in UP.
