08 March 2018 Current Events Andhra Pradesh CM announces two ministers in central government will resign over special status

N Chandrababu Naidu, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, has stated that ministers belonging to his Telugu Desam Party will resign from the central government. According to media reports, the development comes after Naidu was unsuccessful in securing special category status for the state of Andhra Pradesh. If TDP's demand for special category status is not met, they might pull out of the ruling coalition.
