09 September 2018 Current Events Mild Earthquake in Haryana of a magnitude of 3.8

A mild earthquake occured in Haryana at 4:37 pm and the tremor was also felt at Delhi-NCR. The earthquake took place at a depth of 10 km.


Petrol Prices soared up to Rs.80.38/Litre

Petrol prices reached a record high of Rs.80.38 in the capital. While Mumbai recorded a high of Rs.87.77/Litre, rest of the country also felt of heat of this increase. This has also resulted in an all-time high for petroleum products in the country so far.


Delhiites plant 5 Lakh trees to curb pollution

Under the leadership of Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Delhites planted 5 Lakhs saplings to curb the unbearable pollution of Delhi. The Chief Minister told that multiple steps have been taken to curb pollution in the city, but the effect is quite minimal. 


Amit Shah confident on 2019 Elections

At the national executive meeting of BJP, in New Delhi the party president Amit Shah stated that Mahagatbandhan of all other parties is merely an illusion. The Elections 2019 would definitely be a success for BJP. The party also decided to contest the 2019 elections under the leadership of Amit Shah as the party president.
