10 December 2018 Current Events Taking an exit from Modi cabinet, Upendra Kushwaha resigns as Union Minister

Upendra Kushwaha has stepped down as minister of state for human resource development. He resigned earlier today, setting off a new wave of speculations. Kushwaha is the president of Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP). Kushwaha was reportedly upset over BJP's seat-sharing equation in Bihar, claiming that the party only cared about its political agendas, not about the poor people.

"The state government has failed…. In Bihar election, seats of all allies were increased. But injustice was done to RLSP", stated the now ex-Union minister. His party might now forge an alliance with the opposition, including RJD and Congress.


Delhi air pollution: AQI now in 'Very poor' category

According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the air quality index of the national capital recorded a "very poor" state.

According to the same results, the situation in Delhi is not likely to improve, but will only deteriorate in the upcoming 2 days. The PM 10 levels in NCR were at 336, as opposed to the 101-200 level which is considered 'moderate'.
