Coastal security is a big challenge – Admiral R.K. Dhowan

The Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral R.K. Dhowan said that Indian Navy is on high alert and has been carrying out extensive patrolling in coastal areas for the past few months. He further added that “coastal security is a big challenge” and for patrolling purposes Navy units, aircrafts and unmanned aerial vehicles are deployed in the coastal regions. The situation is challenging in the Indian Ocean region because of wide and various threats.

Virat Kohli praises Australia cricket team

India's Test skipper Virat Kohli has all praise for Australian cricket team who won four-match Test Series by 2-0, last two matches ended in draw. As per media report Kohli called Australia as one of the best teams that play cricket with great intent and competition spirit. Ranking does not bother this Indian Test skipper but it the intentions with which the game is played matters.

While addressing the Summit PM Modi said that we are dreaming big and we have numerous dreams. Our dreams can become field of your growth. While concluding his speech he said that we are open to new ideas and innovations and a quantum leap that we are planning is not confined to one sector.

Indian economy will accelerate in 2015 and more in 2016 - World Bank President Jim Yong Kim at the Vibrant Gujarat summit

World Bank President Jim Yong Kim at the Vibrant Gujarat summit said that Indian economy is expected to grow at 6.4 percent in 2015 and this growth will further increase in 2016 because of the steps taken by PM Narendra Modi-led NDA government. He further added that World Bank will also contribute in turning India into vibrant India. Indian economy went down to below five percent in the previous two financial years. The World Bank President also said that Modi government is putting everything in place for rapid growth and development.

Tata Sky launches 4K set top box

Tata Sky launched India’s first premium 4K set top box (STB) in India. Existing as well as new subscribers can purchase this set top box and enjoy ultra clear HD 4K pictures. The STB can be booked for Rs 6,400 by new subscribers where as existing subscribers can get the box at Rs 5,900. The picture and color clarity is 4 times the pixels of full HD.

Arvind Kejriwal calls BJP government a U-turn Sarkar in response to PM Modi's rally

In a reply to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's poll rally in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal said that BJP looks nervous and the party has no positive agenda for Delhi. He then called BJP government a U-turn sarkar as they make promises but never fulfill these. Arvind Kejriwal added that BJP has attacked him not his work during his 49-day government. Delhi is expected to have elections in mid-February. Presently the capital in under President's rule.
