A 25 year old pregnant woman along with her husband are suspected to have joined ISIS. Bindu, the mother of the missing woman, mentioned that her daughter married a Christian youth and both of them converted to Islam after marriage. On 18 May she received call from her daughter and till 4 June she received messages. However, her daughter only informed that they are heading to Sri Lanka for business purpose and did not reveal any other information.
Nagaland to Ban Dog Meat
Joint Secretary Obangla Jamir has urged to issue an order to put an end in the use of dog meat. An order to all the urban local bodies will be issued by the director of directorate of municipal affairs to stop slaughtering the dogs for meat. Dogs are imported from outside to the state as it is one of the delicacies in Nagaland.
Violence Hits Kashmir: Policeman Drowned by Mob
A policeman in Kashmir was drowned after his car was pushed by an angry crowd in Jhelum river on Sunday. This has led to fear of more violence in Kashmir. The reason for the unrest in the valley is the death of the commander of Hizbul Mujahideen Burhan Wani. He died on Friday in a gunfight with the Indian Army.
