Five Judges from Different Religions HearingTriple Talaq Plea

As per reports, the Supreme Court’s bench of five judges who will hear petitions relating to triple talaq from Thursday are from five different religions.

The bench will be led by Chief Justice of India JS Khehar, Justice Kurian Joseph, Justice Uday Umesh Lalit, Justice Rohinton Fali Nariman and Justice Abdul Nazeer.

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) reportedly backs the practice, said it is a ‘valid’ way to end a marriage, no matter even it wrong.

Railway Connectivity for Chardham Yatra to Commence Soon

As per reports, the final location survey for coming up with rail connectivity to the four important Hindu shrines in the hills of Uttarakhand is going to start this week by the Indian Railways. The task of the finals survey has been taken by the Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a railway PSU, for rail connectivity to Chardham.

The nearest railway stations to Chardham include Doiwala, Rishikesh and Karanprayag.
