Imphal-Moreh Section of NH-39 to be upgraded

According to reports, Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, CCEA, has given its approval for upgradation and widening of Imphal-Moreh Section of NH-39 in Manipur. The 65 kilometres NH 39 upgradation work is expected to cost 1,630 crore rupees. National Highway 39 is being developed with Asian Development Bank (ADB) loan assistance. Moreh is seen as the commercial capital of Manipur.

Ravi Shastri to be head coach of Indian cricket team

According to reports, the BCCI has named Ravi Shastri as the new chief coach of the Indian cricket team. He will be coach for the team till ICC World Cup 2019. Rahul Dravid has been appointed as batting consultant and Zaheer Khan as bowling coach for a period of two years.
