Jet Airways is going to charge Rupees Nine Hundred on every extra cabin bag carried by the passengers. Every passenger will be allowed to carry 10 kgs of cabin bag, depending on the type, whether the ticket is of business class or economy. This is going to be implemented from Friday.
Pooja Thakur, who led President Barack Obama's guard of honour at Rashtrapati Bhavan in 2015 has taken IAF to the Armed Forces Tribunal after she was denied permanent commission. The Armed Forces Tribunal has taken the matter seriously and sought response from IAF in four weeks. Thakur has been part of IAF since 2000 and is associated with the administrative department.
A Sikh man voiced his anger on Facebook after he was asked to leave from the queue to watch Wimbledon. He called the matter an act of racism. However, a Wimbledon spokesperson mentioned that he was reportedly made others uncomfortable in the queue, thus asked to leave. Also, he was previously warned about his conduct in the queue.
