GST scheduled for implementation from July 1

According to reports, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) is on track for scheduled implementation from 1 July. According to information released by Revenue Secretary Hasmukh Adhia, GST will be rolled out from 1 July as scheduled. According to the Finance Ministry's statement,preparations are in full swing for a smooth implementation from 1 July. It also said the Central Board of Excise and Customs, in coordination with the state governments, have increased their outreach programmes so as to reach the last trader.

Nine CRPF personnel injured after grenade attack at Tral camp in Jammu and Kashmir

According to reports, nine paramilitary force personnel were injured in Tral Camp of Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir, when suspected terrorists attacked the CRPF camp. The suspected terrorists lobbed a grenade towards CRPF camp in Lariyar Tral. The grenade exploded within camp premises resulting in injuries to nine personnel.
