AIADMK general secretary V K Sasikala left for Bengaluru from Chennai on Wednesday. She will be reaching Parappana Agrahara prison in Bengaluru around 4pm, where she will be surrendering before a court on the prison premises. After finishing all the formalities, she will be lodged in the enclosure for women in the jail.
While on her way to Bengaluru, she was accompanied by her sister-in-law J Elavarasi.
India launched 104 satellites in a single mission on Wednesday around 9.28 am. ISRO's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), which carried 104 satellites, was launched at Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
Out of the 104 satellites, three belonged to India and the rest of nanosatellites were from foreign countries, mostly the United States.
Previously India launched 23 satellites in a single go in 2015. The last record was set by Russia when it launched 37 satellites in 2014.
