Senior Rashtriya Janta Dal member Raghunath Jha passes away

Former Union Minister and senior Rashtriya Janta Dal Leader Raghunath Jha passed away in Delhi on Monday. He took his last breath at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. He was 78 years of age and was suffering from kidney ailment. He was the Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprise in UPA government which was led by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Indian Army Day: President and Prime Minister greets the soldiers

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the Army Officials on the occasion of Army Day which is celebrated every year on 15th January. It is celebrated to mark Field Marshal K M Cariappa's taking over as the first commander-in-chief of the Indian Army from General Sir Francis Butcher in 1949. Prime Minister Modi said every citizen of India has unwavering trust and pride in Indian Army. President Kovind also shared his views on a social media platform and greeted the valiant men and women of the Indian Army
