Highly contagious bird flu virus outbreak reported in areas near Bengaluru

It has been reported that an outbreak of the highly contagious H5N8 virus has been detected in India. This bird flu virus has been the reason for the death of more than 10 birds till now. As per the reports of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), the outbreak is in areas near Bengaluru in Karnataka.
