16 May 2019 Current Events Indian climbers lose their lives on Mount Kanchenjunga
As per recent reports, 2 Indian climbers, Kuntal Karar and Biplab Baidya, are said to have died while on their expedition to Mount Kanchenjunga. The expedition organizer in one of his statements informed that their team made multiple rescue attempts to save the lives of these climbers, but somehow they were unable to succeed. Other than this, Peak Promotion Officer of Kathmandu, Pasang Sherpa, said that one of these climbers had managed to climb the world's third tallest peak, while the other one died of sickness while mounting the summit.
