Theatre Olympics: Vice President to inaugurate the 8th edition

Vice President of India is going to inaugurate the 8th edition of the Theatre Olympics at Lal Quila in Delhi this evening. The event is scheduled for 51 days and will continue till April 8. It will be held in 17 cities including Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Patna, Kolkata, Guwahati, Mumbai, and Jammu. The theme of the fest is- “ Flag of Friendship”. According to the Culture Ministry, it is for the first that more than 25 thousand foreign artists will participate in such an event hosted by India.

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau to arrive for a seven-day visit today

The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau will be visiting India for seven days. The visit aims at further strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries. The focus will be on trade, investment, energy, science, innovation, skill development, space, and infrastructure development. Cooperation in countering tourism and security, exchange of views on global and regional issues of mutual interest will also be important areas of focus during the visit. Justin Trudeau will be accompanied by his wife and 3 children during this visit.
