17 May 2019 Current Events 11 Tiger Cubs Have Been Sighted in the Forest of Madhya Pradesh

Tiger deaths are on the rise. Nearly 14 tiger deaths have been reported so far this year. India is considered to be one of the countries which have witnessing highest decline in tiger population. However, the good news is 11 new born tiger cubs have been sighted in Madhya Pradesh; 5 in Panna Tiger Reserve, three each in Nauradehi and Ratapani. The celebration is bigger in Nauradehi, since it's the first cub born there in years. The authorities have posted policemen for their protection. Amidst the century old man and tiger conflict, this news is definitely a hope for tiger preservation in the country.
