18 January 2020 Current Events Mumbai to be Active 24/7 from the Midnight of January 27

Mumbai will remain awake 24/7 from midnight of January 26-27. After a long wait of three decades, the long-pending proposal to keep al restaurants, malls and multiplexes and shopping plazas have been given a green signal at a meeting chaired by Environment & Tourism Minister Aditya Thackeray. He said that other cities have unlimited space and limited active hours. But since Mumbai has little scope to expand, so it must capitalize on existing resources by keeping them open longer.
