Decision on UP CM Coming Today, Swearing Due in 19 March

As per reports, following the landslide victory of BJP in the UP Assembly elections, the MLAs are going to meet today to come upon a decision to lead the party in state legislation. Observers from centre Venkaiah Naidu and BJP national general secretary Bhupendra Yadav will be present there as well.

Home minster and former CM Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Manoj Sinha, 8 times MLA from Shahjahanpur Suresh Khanna and state BJP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya are among the top contenders.

The CM and his Cabinet would take oath on 19 March at 5.00 PM bringing BJP back to power in UP after 15 long years.

Chennai: Ashwin Sundar, Wife Die after their BMW Catches Fire

As per reports, Indian race-car driver Ashwin Sundar and his wife Nivedhitha were killed after their BMW rammed into a tree and burst into flames in Chennai on Saturday. The couple were on their way home and their car went out of control and hit the tree. The car was stuck between the tree and a wall and the couple were burnt to death as the car caught fire and they could not open the door.

Two Low Intensity Explosions near Cantt Railway Station, No Damage Reported

As per reports, two low-intensity blasts took place near Agra Cantt. railway station on Saturday. The cause of the blast is still unclear. Reports say that one of the explosions occurred in garbage dumping tractor, while the other on the terrace of a house which is located adjacent to the railway station.

There is no report of any damage yet.

The incident took place hours after Andaman Express rammed into a huge boulder on the tracks near another station which is 20 km away. A note threatening of terror attack was recovered by police from the site.
