18 March 2019 Current Events Last rites of Manohar Parikar will be performed today

The last rites of the Chief Minister of Goa, Manohar Parikar will be performed at Miramar today. Parikar was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year in February. Since then he had been in and out of the hospitals. The mortal remains of four-time Chief Minister Manohar Parikar will be taken to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters and later will be taken to Kala Academy for people to pay their last rights to the CM. National mourning has been announced across the country.
