18 November 2017 Current Events IT officials raid Jayalalithaa's Poes Garden residence

In a late night development, IT officials carried out searches at the Jayalalithaa's Poes Garden residence. The search was conducted for more than five hours. Media reports quoted a senior IT official as saying that the search was carried out as they had received information that some important electronic devices were going to be removed from two rooms that were being used by Sasikala. The official stated that it was a limited mission and the entire premises was not searched.
