18 October 2018 Current Events India ranks 5th in the ICC T20 ranking

The International Cricket Council (ICC) launched the global Women's T20 Team ranking on Thursday. According to the ranking, India is placed fifth while Australia which is the three-time champion has topped the list out of 46 teams. As per ICC, the new rankings will help the team improve their game and will also determine where they stand in the shortest format of the game.


Pathanamthitta Police launches an operation to look for hidden protestors

Pathanamthitta Police have launched an operation to find the protestors hiding in the forests situated on the way to Lord Ayyappa temple. The operation was launched after a reporter Suhasini Raj of New York Times was not allowed to go to the temple. She was returned to the base camp at Pampa due to ongoing protests. A squad has been sent into the forests to clear the protestors who are hiding there.
