19 June 2019 Current Events By 2027 India to be the most populous country

As per recent news updates, United Nations report states that India is likely to overtake China in terms of population by 2027. Moreover, the UN has announced an estimate figure of around 1.64 billion inhabitants of India by 2050. The reports added that South Asia's demographic dividend will rise to its peak by 2047. Globally, the percentage of working-age population is likely to decrease, and non-working proportion of population which consists of 65 year olds and up likely to increase, which will put pressure on the economy, as well as families and society.
