19 June 2020 Current Events India to Witness Annual Solar Eclipse on Sunday from 10:12 am to 2 pm

As per the Ministry of Earth Sciences said that India would witness the annual solar eclipse on Sunday (June 21), and the celestial body will be visible in the states of Rajasthan, Haryana, and Uttarakhand. The solar eclipse will begin at 10:12 am, and the phase of annularity will end at 11:50 am. The entire event will come to an end after 2 pm. Due to Coronavirus pandemic, any participation has been prohibited; at Kurukshetra, where the eclipse will be visible, the administration has decided to impose prohibitory orders from Friday. Furthers, violators would be charged under Section 188 of IPC ("disobedience to order duly promulgated by the public servant"). Barricades are being set up, and 'checkpoints' are being increased.
