19 September 2020 Current Events India's Coronavirus Cases Cross 5.3 Million Mark

COVID-19 cases in India have crossed the 53-lakh mark with a jump of 93,337 new cases and 1,247 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the health ministry data on Saturday. The total case tally stands at 53,08,015, in which 10,13,964 are the active cases. However, 42,08,432 patients have cured/discharged or migrated, while 85,619 people have died due to novel coronavirus, according to the health ministry's web portal.
