Tremors of earthquake felt in some parts of Delhi NCR. As per US Geological Survey, the magnitude of the earthquake was 4.4 on the Richter Scale. Apart from Delhi, states of Punjab, Haryana, and Kashmir has also felt the tremors. Murghob, Tajikistan is the epicentre. Today, earthquake tremors were felt in Pakistan as well around 5 pm with 190 km depth. No major casualties has been reported so far.

Meanwhile, twelve Assam BJP legislators urged chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday to convince the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resolve the crisis following the passing of the Citizenship Bill Act.
