21 January 2018 Current Events Fire at Delhi firecracker warehouse: 17 dead

Seventeen people, including 10 women, were killed in a huge fire at a firecracker warehouse in Bawana industrial area. However two people, who included a man and a woman, escaped from the fire by jumping from the terrace of the warehouse. The two people have sustained injuries. As per media reports, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited the site and has ordered an inquiry. Meanwhile, one man who operated the factory, has been taken into custody by the police.
