21 July 2016 Current Events Unclaimed Bag Found in SpiceJet Flight

An unclaimed bag was found in SpiceJet flight, which created chaos at the Sri Guru Ramdas International Airport in Amritsar on Thursday morning. The bag has been moved to a protected area, as mentioned by Central Industrial Security Force. An investigation has been started. However, an initial investigation mentioned that the bag belonged to an Indonesian Muslim woman who checked in at Dubai airport but did not board the flight.


Maharashtra Man Arrested for Sending Bomb Pics to ISIS

According to the reports of Maharashtra anti-terrorism squad (ATS), a man Nasir alias Qadir Abu BakrYafai Chaush has created bomb and sent the photographs to a Syria based handler. He assembled the bomb by getting materials from Hyderabad, Pune and Nagpur. Nasir is a diploma engineer from Parbani district, was arrested by ATS.


BSP Workers Demand Arrest of Dayashankar Singh

Hazratganj witnessed protests of BSP supporters on Thursday where they demanded arrest of BJP leader Dayashankar Singh. The BJP leader made a derogatory remark on BSP chief Mayawati. BSP workers from several districts came to join the protest. Singh has been sacked by BJP from all party posts. Tight security has been arranged in order to control the situation.


Deployment of Indian Tanks Near China Border May Affect Investments

As mentioned by a Chinese state-run media on Thursday, Indian battle tanks have been deployed near the China border which might affect the investments that many Chinese firms are looking to make in India. They have also mentioned that India is confusing the country by positioning more than 100 tanks near the border and still supporting Chinese investments.
