22 August 2018 Current Events Fire erupted at Crystal Tower in Parel of Mumbai city

A fire erupted in a high-rise residential building, Crystal Tower, located in the Parel area in the Mumbai city today morning. The incident took place on the 12th floor of the building. Four people lost their lives and sixteen injured in the incident. The smoke from the fire engulfed the entire staircase stranding few people in the building. The fire brigade reached the spot after the incident got reported at around 8:30 in the morning. The fire is now under control.
