22 December 2015 Current Events Juvenile Justice Bill to be discussed in Rajya Sabha today

Nirbhaya’s parents would be in attendance as the Rajya Sabha discusses the Juvenile Justice Bill at 2:00 p.m. today. After having approached Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, the parents of the deceased girl are eyeing a good support for the Bill which seeks to change the law to allow the trying of those under 16 who have been accused of crimes, usually committed by adults. 


Approval of Vidarbha unit paces up Raymond Ltd. shares

After the Maharashtra government gave a ‘green’ signal to setting up of a Raymond textile unit in Vidarbha, the shares of the company jumped by an impressive 1.74%. Expected to generate a whopping employment opportunity for 7,500 people, this new Raymond unit will bring about a rapid growth in the state’s economy.  


Indian Super League - A 'No-Benefit' deal for Indian players

As per the FC Goa Chief coach and Brazilian legend Zico, the much-hyped ISL(Indian Super League) is in no way proving beneficial for the Indian football players. Zico pointed out the over-reliance on foreign players and persistent non-ISL activity as the key reasons behind zero benefit of ISL to Indian Football. 


BSF Plane crashes near Delhi Airport, 4 Dead

A Ranchi-bound Border Security Force (BSF) plane carrying ten people, including three BSF officers, crashed at around 9:50 a.m. near theDelhiAirport. The crash took place after the technicians lost contact with the aircraft’s ground control.
