Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has met with the Dalit family in Una, Gujarat, who were beaten up by the Gau-Rakshaks. As per reports, members of the Dalit family were skinning a dead cow. Kejriwal mentioned that the police is not taking any action because of the pressure from the government. Rahul Gandhi also visited Una on Thursday and assured the family of justice.
The Lok Sabha has been adjourned many times on Friday after the protest of BJP MPs against Punjab AAP MP Bhagwant Mann for being involved into Facebook live while entering the parliament. Mann has severely been criticised for uploading the video on social media. However, the Punjab AAP MP has defended himself by saying that he was trying to showcase the Question Hour session in the parliament.
An Indian Air Force plane which was carrying 29 personnel went missing on Friday. The An-32 aircraft was on a courier flight flying to Port Blair from Chennai. Search operations are underway to track the location of the aircraft. Four Navy warships and two military planes have been dispatched in the Bay of Bengal to help in the rescue efforts.
