SpiceJet flight cancellation annoyed passengers

Flight cancellation by the SpiceJet received criticism from passengers who have been informed about cancellation through text messages. The call centre of the airline and travel companies selling its tickets are constantly receiving calls from angry passengers inquiring about the cancellation, next booking or refund. As per media reports, not only flight cutting but the airline has also stopped flying to destinations such as Surat and Mysore.

Microsoft Lumia 535 is expected to launch on 26 November

The Microsoft Lumia 535 is expected to launch on 26 November in India, the first phone without the brand Nokia. As per media reports, invitation ‘Power of five’ and ‘Five days to the magic of triple 5' to a press event has already been sent. The Windows smartphone has 5-inch touchscreen, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 128 GB. The Microsoft Lumia 535 has a 5MP camera and a 5MP lens.

PM Modi talks about development in J&K during rally in Kishtwar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid stress on development while addressing a public-rally in Kishtwar in J&K ahead of Assembly elections in the state. Assembly elections are scheduled to take place in five phases between 25 November and 20 December and counting will be done on 23 December. He added that if Kutch in Gujarat can develop then Kashmir can too. PM Modi also blamed the National Conference and the People's Democratic Party for obstructing the development of Jammu and Kashmir.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis points out a hopeful breakthrough with Shiv Sena

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit said that the Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiv Sena were friends and will remain so in future as well. Two days earlier Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy pointed that something good will come out from the talks between the BJP and Shiv Sena, the parties which parted before Maharashtra state elections.

World Chess Championship - 10th game between Anand and Carlsen ends in draw

The 10th game of the world chess title match between Norwegian world chess champion Magnus Carlsen and Indian challenger Viswanathan Anand in Sochi, Russia ended in a draw. This draw gave Carlsen a lead of 5.5-4.5. 

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's direct attack on Centre

West Bengal Chief Minister and All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) chairperson Mamata Banerjee while addressing party workers at the Netaji Indoor Stadium directly attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government at the centre. She said that the Congress is breaking down in fear of Narendra Modi but if we are hit then we will hit back. She added that they are not dependent upon anybody. CM Banerjee also defended AITC MP Srinjoy Bose who a day earlier was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Ms Banerjee also said that a new investigation agency should be constituted to replace the CBI.
