23 December 2019 Current Events Artists Took to Jantar Mantar to Show their Protest Against CAA

On Sunday, artists gathered at Jantar Mantar to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB). The protestors showed their dissent with music and poetry by reciting 'Dastoor', a poem by Pakistani Urdu poet Habib Jalib, 'Bella Ciao' and 'Ae zaalim, wapas jao'. Students from Jamia Milia Islamia also joined the protest. A student from the same university, Nabia Khan recited a poem "beaten up by the police in the university's library". Another student sang his own composition "Jamia ki ladkiya" toasting the bravery of the students of Jamia.
